MEDICINAL USE OF TENOLAM E TABLET

The reverse transcriptase enzyme is responsible for producing copies of DNA from the HIV’s RNA. Tenolam E Tablet is a combination of Efavirenz, Lamivudine and Tenofovir Disoproxil fumarate.

Lamivudine is a Nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor and Tenofovir, a nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitor. Tenofovir is the only nucleotide analog and it has a high tolerability.

Efavirenz is a Non-Nucleoside Reverse Transcriptase Inhibitor which directly inhibit the enzyme reverse transcriptase. This blocks the replication and reproduction of the virus.
