Irnocam 100mg Injection is used to treat advanced or metastatic colorectal cancer (cancers of colon and rectum). It can also be used to treat colorectal cancer among patients whose disease has recurred or progressed following initial chemotherapy with 5-Fluorouracil.

Irnocam 100mg Injection is mostly used in combination with other anticancer medicines to achieve better results

Irnocam 100mg Injection is given as an IV infusion into vein by a qualified medical professional. Your doctor will decide what dose is necessary and how often you need to take it. This will depend on what you are being treated for and may change from time to time. You should take it exactly as your doctor has advised.

Before taking it, tell your doctor if you have heart disease, liver, or kidney problems or are taking any medicines to treat infections. Many other medicines can affect, or be affected by, this medicine so let your healthcare team know all medications you are using.

MEDICINAL USE OF Irnocam 100mg Injection

Irnocam 100mg Injection works by converting its active metabolite with the help of liver enzymes and inhibits the Topoisomerase I enzyme. This causes damage to the DNA synthesis and its replication, thus preventing the cancer cells from growing and spreading.
